One of my clients installed Appraiser's Edge on two of their computers. It causes Word to crash and saturate process time. Further, the program will not uninstall using the uninstaller in the control panel. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office, but that didn't help.

To resolve this issue, I reset all the toolbars in Word to default and closed it, Then, I went to the user's profile folder in Documents and Settings. From there, I went to Application Data > Microsoft > Office and deleted the entire Templates folder. The templates folder contains Normal.dot, among other things. Deleting this folder and Normal.dot seems to have fixed the issue.
