In the past, Newegg has been synonymous with great customer service and expedient order delivery. I can remember placing an order at 4:30pm, having that order process instantly and ship the same day. Sometimes the order would get here, before the tracking number was even issued. I used to bragg that Newegg was, by far, the best company to order computer parts, hands down.

Not anymore. Newegg has now adopted the "too big to fail" policy. In my opinion, they don't care about their customer, as long as they make money. They want to do as little as possible to keep the customers they have, that have come to rely on their once excellent service. Newegg is sticking to its rules of 1-2 days to post and 1-2 days more to ship, customer be damned. It takes their "verification team" (I'm doubtful if they even exist. Maybe just a bunch of monkeys with typewriters) 24-48 hours to confirm an order, but, when you press an associate, he'll tell you you're in a que and you'll just have to wait. When you ask where you're at in that que, he/she won't know, but he'll send them an email to ask them to speed up your order. If they can send them an email to speed up the order, why can't they ask where it's at in the que? After I asked that question, I was given to a supervisor, who instantly approved my order. Maybe HE was the verification department? I guess part of their new policy is to lie to customers, as well, hoping they'll just get frustrated and go away?

It seems this new policy is just another way for them to push the extra $3.xx charge, to expedite your shipping. Why should I do that, when it should be done, anyway. Can't do it in time,Newegg, hire more people. Your customers expect performance, and if you can't deliver, you're going to loose them, as you've lost me, Newegg.

Now, I've got a complete order that's showing up a week after I originally placed it, minus the Software... Yeah, that didn't ship out with the rest of the order, so It'll be delayed. "We apologize" Ask them if they can change the shipping to 2 day delivery, and see what happens. Way to go above and beyond for your customers, Newegg. I think I'll take the remaining $11,000 of my order and go elsewhere, from now on.

The fact is, I fell that Newegg has changed their policy of quick shipping and replaced it with paper excuses. Personally, I don't want to hear them; I'm giving my business to someone else.

Division of Newegg.com. Used their online chat, to ask if they were. I was curious to see how they would answer. Stayed on hold for 17 minutes... no one ever picked up.
